    Hello everyone ??

I was hoping I could get some help with my WordPress site: Im currently using the Vostok theme ( https://www.vostoktheme.com/ ).

I been kinda stuck for 2 days on how to achieve Image mouseover caption effect, like on this site: https://spifftastic.net/janice/galtec.html#

My Posts are messed up and I made the first post a sticky which made everything even worse ??

Hope someone can help me figure out how to make the image work as its suppose to and fix the posts layout like in the original vostok theme ??

My wordpress blog is at: https://ilionline.net

    Thanks for any help!

Thank you so much esmi, Tried to fix as much as possible without ruining the image effect eventhou it said it was invalid the -webkit- stuff. And bookmarked for further use ??

Now its just that my Posts arent correctly lined up and the overlay on the image dont cover the entire image, it sorta left out a line on the top.

    Thanks again, big help ??

There are still some significant CSS errors on there. Don’t worry about the -moz or -webkit errors. It’s the border & background errors that may be causing problems.

Okey I’ll do some more digging. Yea I read that -moz- and -webkit- arent valid but they work. Ill post again when I’ve cleaned it up more.

    Thanks!

They’re proprietary CSS (browser-specific) and not part of the W3C CSS3 spec. However, Firefox should be supporting more CSS3 soon and dropping support for the older -moz attributes.

Tried my best to clean it up, reordered and deleted most of it, just not -webkit- , -moz-background-clip , border-radius and -o-transition When i changed or removed them , the image overlay got really messed up.

Posts are still overlapping eacother and the hover over image part isnt covering the entire image.

Not sure where to go from here :p Perhaps its not fixable.

Thanks for any help again ??
