Post installation blues

  • What do you have specified for the two URLs at the Options -> General page?

    I am sorry – I do not understand.
    I have not changed the code for version 2.1.3 yet – except to put in the database details in wp-config.php. Therefore, I have not specified a URL anywhere.
    Just to clarify, the installation went as easily as expected and I have an admin password generated by wordpress. The URL examples quoted are those generated by wordpess when I look at the code generated to display https://subdomain.domain.com/wp-login.php

    Thank you. The problem is solved.
    It was because of an error in the database – I dunno how that happened. The solution is found here https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/
