Post Info after Title, before Excerpt?

Is it somehow possible to get the Sandbox Featured Content Widget to display posts’ info section after the title, but before the excerpt, ie. Title – Post Info – Excerpt – (Post Meta)? It is shown this way in the widget UI, but at least here it persistently renders Title – Excerpt – Post Info – (Post Meta).

Also, while I’ve been able to to figure out how to change the text displayed by Genesis for [post_categories] on the Blog and individual post page, I have no clue as to how I could do the same in the widget output. Entering [post_date] – [post_categories, before=”] sort of works: the text “Posted under:” disappears, but I get an ugly pair of empty ”.
