Post images wont align centrally

The images is contained within a span which does indeed have an .aligncenter class.

However, that class does not have any alignment properties in your CSS

There are many ways to fix this.

The simplest way in your case is to add the following CSS code in the Custom CSS editor in the WordPress customizer – since you’re using WordPress 4.7

.aligncenter {
    text-align: center;
}

This worked a treat!

I just wasted two hours of my life trying to get this to work before asking for help, so thank you!!

Do I need to add additional CSS to get my image galleries to align? Still having a problem with these.

Great!

The code above will only work for items that already have the .aligncenter class added to them in your html

If you’d like you can post a link to one of those galleries you mentioned and I can take a look at it and see if there’s a quick fix for that too.
