• Hi Cameron. I’m a premium user and i’m in a hurry. How is inteded to work the plugin with the post’ images? The first time it worked, but now seems impossible and the plugin doesn’t appear in the public page, but the shortcode is correctly typed. Which are the correct steps to get rid of the current wordpress gallery (3.5.1) and put instead your satellite viewer?

    Thanks in advance.

What shortcode are you using to embed the satellite?

When you say the first time it worked, when was that? What version of the slideshow?

Thanks for your reply. I made this steps the first time: create gallery, insert shortcode using the button, test and delete gallery, and repeating it later in others post it doesn’t work. What I really need to know is the correct sequence of steps to associate a post gallery with your plugin, getting rid of the WordPress gallery visualization for use the satellite one. I wrote you an email with some examples. I ‘m using the pro version just downloaded from the membership area.

    Thanks again

Why are you deleting the gallery? do you mean the [gallery] shortcode?

It sounds like you’re using the proper steps if you’re using the button, but you don’t usually have to delete anything.

Are you saying it works on the post itself, but if you repeat that step in other posts it doesn’t work?

That’s right, the first post works, but the new ones doesn’t. If I don’t delete the gallery code it appears with the satellite (only in the first post). It’s like WordPress can’t render the shortcode, it ignores it. But if in other post I put in the shortcode the id of the first one, then that gallery is rended! It’s very strange. I assume it’s possible to have as many satellites slideshows as posts and galleries are, or am I wrong?

You can have as many satellites as you want. But you can only have one per page unless you’re a Premium (which you are).

[satellite] works in the page you’re in for a post. But [satellite post_id=123] would work in any page.

I don’t know what you mean by gallery code. can you just paste that in here? Paste the one that works, and the one that doesn’t, and what post ids you’re embedding them in.

    Here you have:

    The one that works:
    https://impexeuropa.com/web/productos/raticidas/bromadiolona/ratibrom-2-super-concentrado/
    [satellite auto=off caption=off thumbs=on]
And NO other code (only text). I assume that satellite get the images form the old gallery that existed there, but currently i can edit that gallery, there is no code to it.

    The one that doesn’t works:
    https://impexeuropa.com/web/productos/raticidas/bromadiolona/ratibrom-2-cebo-fresco/
    [gallery ids="218,139,173"]
    [satellite auto=off caption=off thumbs=on]
I’ve added the gallery shortcode, but with or without it, when i view this page I only can see the current wordpress gallery, not satellite loaded.

So i think i’m not making the correct steps to let satellite know that there’s a gallery in the post, or there are any other issues…

    Checkout https://bit.ly/stlmanual

It tells you how to run post ids from a different post, and a lot more.

    I believe it’s something like [satellite post_id=123 auto=off]

Hi again! Please, we are in a hurry, it’s the only thing we need to solve to deliver the web to our client, and if can’t fix it, we have to look for another plugin but yours is perfect for our purposes! Can I send you an email with the admin login? thanks again!
