• Hi,

I have just made a site live for my company, and everything was working fine…except, in total disregard of one of the major rules of web design…I didn’t check the site on other browsers other than the one I was using (Chrome). The issue I’m having is that on my homepage, the main image above the text shows up in Chrome, but does not show up in either Firefox or IE. I’ve checked it with varios versions of IE, and it’s the same result.

    The site is https://www.fineartsspiritstore.com

On the backend of the site, the image is actually pasted in to the content, it’s not a featured image or anything. If you go to Chrome you can see the image (it’s called “Splash.jpg”), but you can’t see it in IE or Firefox, although you can see it in Safari on my phone. I’m guessing it has something to do with the resizing of the image, but I’m not sure. Can anyone help? I’m a novice designer when it comes to web stuff, so any markup that I can put in my custom css would be appreciated!

    Thanks

  • It shows up fine for me on Firefox. Try emptying your browser cache.

thanks, I had to remove the original pic and redo it, I noticed it showed up as a broken image even inside the content area of the page on the backend of the site.
