Post images not saved to gallery

  • Images from my posts are not saved to my media library automatically. Shouldn’t all post images be saved to the media library? I’m using automation tools to post and because my images are not being saved to the library, there is no way to choose an image to be used as the post thumbnail/featured image because there’s no images from my post in the library!

    How can I get the theme to save post images to the media library?

  • Hi there,
    this actually is not something a theme should do, unless what you mean is that the theme is preventing your images to be added to the media library: does it happen with another theme like, for instance, the Twenty Seventeen theme?

    As far as I understand, your automation tool should take care of adding the images to the media library, and eventually to attach them to the post.
