Hi there – I’m not quite clear on the display you’re trying to achieve.

Are you referring to image post format posts only?

Could you provide a link to your site and give me a specific example of which image you’d like to be displayed where? Thanks.

    Hello Kathryn,

Thank you for your answer (and your time).
I’d like the image post format to behave like the default post format in the way it displays the post images.

When I choose the default post format, everything goes fine. But I’d like a featured image with a greater width on top of the title, like with the image post format.

When I choose the image post format, every picture in the post is displayed as featured images.

You can check this behaviour on https://louisebailleul.fr/2015/08/19/incipit/ (image post format enabled). I’d like the shoes picture to display as featured image and the graph one as a classic post image (in the text flow, between paragraphs).

    Thanks

In the meantime, I have added a few more pictures in the post.
The only one which should display as a featured image is the very last one. Every other one should be in the post flow.

What is weird is that the code is OK (paragraph, image, hr, paragraph, image, hr, etc.) and stays sorted as it should be.

    Hello Kathryn,

Just to tell you that it’s working fine.
I thought I had to select “image post” format to get what I wanted but I was wrong.

It works perfectly fine when I use the default standard post format and use the “featured image” feature.

Thank you for your time. I love this theme.

That’s great! I’m glad you found an easy solution to get everything looking as you’d like. And I’m glad you’re liking Tonal – enjoy. ??
