Hello, i have a question about the post images in WordPress. The images are clickable, and it links you to the image only (first as a thumb). It seems to be an attachment. This is bad for SEO because Google recognise the image as a post (dublicate content).

For example this post: https://www.autoedizione.nl/2011/03/19/fiats-aandeel-in-ferrari-naar-90/ (click on the Ferrari – Fiat image).

When you search on the post title exactly you’ll get this result in Google (first result is the post and second the image:

How to disable this in WordPress??? When something is not clear please ask.

    Thanx in advance

If you don’t want images to be clickable, simply remove the image link when adding an image by clicking the “None” button next to “Link URL.” Takes 1 second and it seems in my experience like WordPress remembers your preference and does not include an image link by default next time you add an image.
