post header image size?

  • how can I get the header images (featured image?) the same size they are in the demo? I even put up a picture of the exact same size as in the demo — but they’re cropped to be very short.

    also, the social widget, is that something I should find with the theme? or is it a separate download?

    THANKS! i really really REALLY love this theme a lot.

    Featured images must be at least 820px wide and 450px high.
    Social icons require additional plugin called Simple Social Icons.

    i also am having trouble with the size of the header image…..no matter the original size of the image, once i make it the featured image it posts the size of a thumbnail.
