Post Grid – Offset

I want to use the Post Grid in Posts to show a grid of similar Posts to the current one. Is there any way of ignoring the current Post in the query?

Ideally by default the Post Grid would always ignore the current post when it is used in a Post.

Is there any way of setting an offset for the query eg start displaying posts from the second post into the query?
