post grid-is there a way to make read more button link to an external site?

Hi, I have seen youtube videos about this plugin and it looks so beautiful. I’m now looking to create a site with the same layout as thisiswhyimbroke where each item on the post grid has a button to link to an external site (instead of the blog post).

is there a way to customize the read more button in post grid, so that instead of taking you to within the blog post, it would take you to an external site? and if a reader clicked on the headline of each post within the post grid, it would take them to read the full blog post? i cannot find anything with this functionality so far and am hoping for some advice please. i have zero coding knowledge.
