Post grid featured images are blank

    Hi,

    I really like the post grid module in Nimble Builder. So easy to use and with a beautiful, minimal layout.

    But, for the past week or so, most of the times I visit my site the featured images in the posts are just white. Sometimes they load but most often not.

    I found this related post

    and tried clearing my cache from within the wordpress interface. This did not solve my issue. My site is hosted by BlueHost.

    I have also tried force-reloading from the browsers and private mode.

    I tried using another plugin to display the post feed and that worked. The post module still showed blank images but the other plugin showed the posts with featured images. (This was using Jetpack, placed in a widget area under the area with the grid post module.)

    Tested on PC w firefox, chrome, opera, internet explorer
    Tested on other w PC with firefox
    Tested on android phone w duckduckgo’s browser
    Tested on iPhone w duckduckgo’s browser

    Any ideas for other things I can try?

    I think I have identified the cause of the problem. But I need to explore the issue a little more in depth.

    Update in case anyone finds this thread:

    @nikeo identified the issue and suggested I disable the option “defer loading offscreen images” found in the appearance => customize interface under nimble builder > site-wide options.
    This helped solve my issue of images not loading.

    Thanks for updating the topic @veganphysicist
    The next release of Nimble Builder will fix this issue and allow you to reactivate the lazy loading of images.

    Any update on this issue, as I’m also facing this problem, at it happens to all images across the website that is placed in content other than images used in backgrounds
