Post Grid Excerpt

    Hi,
    I am suddenly encountering an issue where if I enable the excerpt of pages in the post-grid widget, I get a bunch of code text that is displayed.
    I am using a redirect plugin for those pages, so I am wondering if that may be it, but disabling the plugin doesn’t change anything. It was also previously working with the plugin regardless.

    @ejhkim,

    It’s difficult to say what caused this issue actually. Did you check for plugin conflicts of your entire website? Besides, we are preparing a new release today, so you can try updating the plugin to the latest version and check back.

    Hi, there. How are you doing? Did you find the issue of yours after checking plugin conflicts?

    We have released a new version of Essential Addons Free 3.9.2. So, can you please update to the latest version? Make sure to regenerate assets from Essential Addons -> Tools as well.

    Hi, unfortunately, I couldn’t find any plugin conflicts. However, I did notice the same issue happened when using the search box. Certain pages appear as just code, instead of the proper excerpt, so I fear it may be a larger issue.

    @ejhkim,

    Could you please try removing the Search box and check back as well? It doesn’t seem like the issue is from our side actually. It could try switching to another Theme as well. Let me know how it goes.
