    Hello.
I don’t know why, the events page stopped showing information, showing the message “No post found!”. However, the posts (events) exist and when I enter edit mode the page is visible.
I’m using the “Post Grid” element from the Essential Addons for Elementor plugin, with the source set to “Events”.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @getgain,

I hope you are doing well.

I checked your website a few times ago and found that the Post Grid (Events) loads your posts perfectly. Please check this screencast here – https://d.pr/v/XZ28Z9

I think it’s working well now. If you think this issue still exists please let me know.

    Thank you!

    Hello @onlykawshar,

The problem was not solved, I can’t find the reason but it was something with the calendar event plugin.
The solution was to create each event from the beginning, but like a post, not an event.

    Thank you anyway.

    Hello again,

I assume that you have missed selecting the Custom Post Type from WordPress Dashboard – > Elementor -> Settings -> General -> Post Types -> Events.. After selecting this, you will be able to select the Events from Elementor Builder with EA Post Grid. Please check this screencast here – https://d.pr/v/VDSRr4

    Thank you

    Hi @onlykawshar

Hello, I am using The Event Calendar version 6.0.13 PRO and Essential Addons for Elementor Lite version 5.7.2 . Also, I use Elementor. Using the module from the Elementor addon, I can display the events. In the preview in the elementor edit window, the events are displayed. Unfortunately on the landing page I’m showing “No posts found!” Events that have taken place are not displayed, and events that will be in the future are shown.
I am using Elementor in the free version.
    Can I fix this error?

I sent a link to the subpage: https://filharmonia.dranasproject.pl/projekty/blizej-muzyki-3-edycja/

I checked the recent posts option in the WordPress main settings. Here it works properly, all events are shown.

    Event settings are by date.

In the link sent above, event posts do not appear (the ones that have already passed).

From elementor admin, events show up. screen->?https://filharmonia.dranasproject.pl/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/screen.png

    Dear @dranass ,

Thank you for providing more details about the issue you’re facing with displaying past events.

Based on your explanation, it seems that the past events are displaying correctly within the Elementor edit window because it is accessing the events from the admin end. However, the issue arises when viewing the landing page on the front-end, where it shows “No posts found!” for past events.

To troubleshoot this further, I recommend performing the following steps:

    1. Open your landing page in an incognito window or a different browser where you are not logged into the admin dashboard. This will simulate the experience of a regular visitor. Check if the past events (without any widget , use the event URL ) are visible in this scenario. If they are visible, it indicates that the issue might be related to your current browser cache or login session.
    2. Create a new single event and add it to a test page using Elementor. Check if this new event is displayed correctly on the front-end of the website. If the new event shows up while the existing events do not, it could indicate a specific issue with the previous events’ data or settings.

By performing these steps, you can gather more information about the problem and narrow down the possible causes. If the past events are visible in the incognito window and the new test event displays correctly, it suggests that there might be an issue with the existing events’ data or settings.

Feel free to share your findings after trying the above steps, and I’ll be glad to assist you further in resolving the issue.

    Regards,
    Pial

    Hi @iapial

Came to the landing page via icongnito, unfortunately they still don’t show up.
I created a new event that popped up. As soon as the time of the event passed, it disappeared from the frontpage.
When I go to WordPress settings > reading > display recent posts, all events, future and past, are shown.

So the posts loop is working fine, only with these events in the loop something is not working

    Hello again @dranass

Please make sure to check if the past events without any widget ( use the event URL) are visible in this scenario.

Based on your description, it appears that the issue may be related to the Event plugin you used to create the event, rather than our Widget. Our widget is designed to display only the available events that are accessible publicly. If your events are not accessible, they will not normally be available in the widget.

In this case, I would recommend reaching out to the support team of your Event Plugin. They are better equipped to handle this specific issue and provide you with appropriate assistance and guidance. They will have a deeper understanding of the plugin’s functionality and can help troubleshoot the problem with displaying past events using the event URL.

I hope this clarifies the situation. If you have any further questions or need additional clarification, please feel free to ask. We are here to help.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards,
    Pial
