• Hello.

Until now, I used the template Baskerville. New Rowling promises to be interesting. But from what I see, the template does not support post_types.

    1) Is the intentional assumption?
    2) Can you count on adding video and link?
    3) total link may be similar to Baskerville.
    4) It’s cool it would be if the video on the home page instead of the present embeds video player, he published a video images of the play icon. The question is, whether it is with the use of any of the plug-in to automatically generate a video images.

    Hi spex,

The reason for why Rowling doesn’t support the same post formats as Baskerville is that www.remarpro.com doesn’t allow themes to contain theme specific content input, akin to the link/video fields included in Baskerville. That was the case previously as well, but they’ve become more ardent about it (and rightfully so) since Baskerville and some other of my themes were released.

In short: I wouldn’t be able to release Rowling on www.remarpro.com if it had that functionality, so there’s no current plans for adding it in. You would be able to add that functionality in a child theme for Rowling, however, but since there’s none of the meta field code in the theme to start with, it would take quite a bit of work.
