• Hi, I noticed that there are several post formats available when creating posts in the Botiga theme – Aside, Image, Link, Quote, Standard, Status and Video. But regardless of which one is used, there is no change to the format of the post – is that the intention? If so, why make the post format an option in the theme?

  • Hi @stephenwrks,

    Thank you for your question.

Post formats can be opted-out from the theme. But currently we don’t do that because some other users may need them and they can add custom CSS code to have specific look on each format.

Thanks for the reply and info @kharisblank and understood what the intention is now. Just one further question, do you have any documentation on how this could work or could be made to work: “add custom CSS code to have specific look on each format”?

Hi @kharisblank can I just ask you to point me in the right direction in response to my last question ??And if its not possible, (i.e. you don’t have documentation or you just cannot advise in this area), then just say and we can close this topic off…

@kharisblank maybe you can just help me try to achieve what I need with a workaround. Instead of creating post formats, I have tried to style a draft post the way I want using the Botiga page builder mode and then would just copy the post style for future posts, see below view in editor mode and then below that in preview mode:

I’m almost there but I cannot seem to do much in Botiga Page Builder Mode – ultimately I just need to increase the space between the site header and my post heading (as you can see it’s too close).

    Am I missing something simple?
