Post Formats

Regardless of the post format I use, the post displays the way I was expecting, but the page does not.
On the page, the text that was used to link to another page is presented on the same line with the remainder of the text for the post. The post, however, separates them and the link title is displayed in gold.
How do I get the text and the heading to display on separate lines on the page, even if the text is not displayed in gold.
