Post Format Issue

    hello,
    im working on website which create post automatically but the issue is, that does not choose or set Post format so standard post format is selected automatically. even in setting default post format selected as video format.

    i tried with two different automation plugins and both don’t select post format so default post format should be selected that is video format. but standard is selected every time. how can i solve this.

    yes. one is not responding and other one said he’ll see if he can add post format option in plugin but not sure since WordPress should add default format automatically.

    yes i saved video. and still getting standard format.

    As long as you’re doing this through some tool, you’ll need to fix it in that tool.

    is there way to edit standard format code and change it with video format code. so whenever WordPress automatically assign standard format but post will get video format instead.

    Yes; it would require a change to your theme, probably in single.php. So, the first step would be to figure out what template calls the post formats and how they’re implemented, then create a child theme to make the necessary changes.
