Post Format, Categories and Post Title

Hey great plugin but there is a couple things I would like to happen and I dont know if it is in the theme I am using or not. I read through the posts in this forum and didnt see anything that completly answered these:

1. Even though I change my writing settings in wordpress to have the default post category go to ‘blog’, whenever the tweet comes through the category is ‘uncategorized’. Which means it doesnt post automatically because only ‘blog’ category posts go through.

2. Same thing goes for the format. I want the format to automatically be ‘status’ and it is in my settings to do that but when the tweet comes through it is formatted ‘standard’.

3. I want the tweets to either go to the Title of the post only (preferred) or to the body only. Otherwise it is just repeating itself.

Are all these problems because of my theme? and if so, can anyone point me in the direction of changing them in the theme? (already have child theme going).
