Post Font Size

    WP News Stream is ALMOST perfect! I have searched for hours, days, weeks for the perfect theme and I am so close! This looks fine on a phone but on a PC I am not happy with the Font Sizes. On the home page, the text below the featured image is too small and I would like a bit more text from the post to be shown ( a couple sentences – not a couple words). Then, when you select a post, the text (on a PC) is extremely small.

    This is the first theme that has given me the options I want for a sticky post on top, followed by gallery/snippets and with the widgets, menus and colours. Can you let me know how to change font sizes or recommend an alternative theme?

  • Hey Suzy, I am also trying to figure that out and am hoping you get answered. I am trying to figure out how to put a picture on the space at the front. Can you tell me where I can do that? I really appreciate it.

    To be more clear on my question – I want to put a picture as the first “post” and stick it to my front page. However, on the front page, the box it gives me for the post is too small for the picture to then display. So you have to click Read More to see the pic. I just want it to be always there as part of my front page. If this makes sense, and you can help, please let me know.

    If you create a post and insert your image – then before you publish in the ‘publish’ box on the top right, click on Edit next to ‘Visability’ and check the box ‘stick this post to the front page’ On most themes, this will force this post to be on top so if your post is just an image (also set your pic as the featured image) then your image will be at the top I did something similar but I am now testing other themes. Still can’t find the perfect one so I’ll go back to News Stream and try to edit. But I’m getting sick of the slider now!

    the plug in looks good but I’m guessing you have to change the font size in EVERY post – I have over 80!! I was hoping for some help in changing the source code to set the default font size so I don’t have to do it for each post individually. but this plug in will come in handy for other uses. Thanks

    Hi @suzybg and @karla TSM – THis is probably way to late, but you can try line 898 on the style sheet to control the main font size.
