    Hello,
how do I set up post filtering? I have created a page where I use Elementor and Sidebar where there is filtering, but when I click on a filter the content doesn’t change. Can you advise me what to put where?
I think the content is not changing because it doesn’t know where to display the result.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Hello @juriix

Thank you for your interest in Filter Everything. It seems you tried to filter Custom WP Query but for this goal you have to user PRO versoin of the plugin. The Free version can filter native (Main) WP_Queries on original post type archive pages. But it can not filter Custom WP_Queries.

    Hi @stepasyuk,

Does that mean that the free version will not work with Elementor?

Does elementor always use custom WP Queries?

Free version works with Elementor but only on native WordPress archive pages – post type archive, category archive, tag archive, any tax archive, author archive, date archive etc. In other words – on pages where are post grids/lists are shown by default.

On singular pages (for example when page is post type Page) usually there are no post grids by default. They can be added there with page builders like Elementor. And such post grids uses custom WP_Queries that can be filtered by the PRO version Filter Everything only.

So both versions work with Elementor, but Free on some type of pages, PRO on all pages.
