Display the Post’s Featured Images on Home Page Panel

Hello,
I am having trouble getting the featured images for my posts to appear in a panel of the home page that is set to show posts.

I am using twenty seventeen. I have chosen my posts to appear on a page name Projects. I set a panel on the homepage to display the Projects page which does show the post title and excerpt but not the post’s feature image.

If I view a list of posts via a category link. I see the title, featured image for the post and the text excerpt. I would like the posts to appear the same way on home page panel.
