post featured image smaller

  • hello,how can i make the featured image inside the post to be smaller? i tried changing additional image sizes in functions.php
    add_image_size( ‘imax-slider-thumb’, 450, 400, false ); //(cropped)
    add_image_size( ‘imax-single-thumb’, 450, 350, false ); //(cropped)
    add_image_size( ‘imax-tx-medium’, 450, 400, false ); //(cropped)
    but the didn’t work.please help me!

    i did eventually but i don’t remeber what files i’ve modified.after the update i lost what i;ve modified and i had to change the theme.now i’m using melos theme and i didn’t had this problem anymore.
