Post extracts in static homepage

  • Hi,
    I have installed the Static Front Page plugin, and I have a normal homepage, but I’d like to include two blog posts on it. How do I include them?
    The page is here: https://zebra-cupboard.co.uk/gym/ – and you can see where I want the posts (marked as Headline 1 and 2) to go (I can sort the CSS code out). Any thoughts?
