Post Excerpts and RSS feed

please help,

I like the way my post excepts look on my main page. The problem is I originally had a photo link in the post excerpt so my rss feed would include and image. i had to remove it because I kept having duplicate images for the post excerpts. One that will end up in the rss feed and the other that is aligned to the left of the rectangle the post excerpt lives in. I have photos but i do not see a way i can upload them to this.
