Post Excerpt Parameter Issue in 6.0 update

    In 6.0 update (Not Pro) $$post_excerpt$$ parameter returns an empty string when post is not using a custom excerpt and is using the WordPress auto excerpt. I had to revert to previous version of the plugin (5.8).

    This is fixed in the Shortcoder version 6.0. Marking this as resolved.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay. I have been busy lately. I am sorry to report that the problem persists in both version 6.0 and version 6.1

    I’m staying on 5.8 for now.

    Hi @rsenecal,

    Thanks for following up.
    There was another request to show full excerpt. A change was made to implement that but looks like this issue was not fixed.

    I’ll fix it in the next version and post an update.
