Post excerpt

    Thank you very much for a clean design and nice looking free theme.

    I have only one small question which I hope you can help me with.

    On this page: https://themes.array.is/editor/2014/05/10/1766/ you can see there is an excerpt to the left of the post text. It starts with “…Coffee is a brewed beverage…” then the category, tag and comments are listed underneath.

    I would like to ask how do you create the excerpt? I searched on your site and in this support forum.

    Thank you in advance for any help and time that you can offer to this basic question.

    Hi Jasmin,

    I’m glad you’re enjoying Editor!

    To get the excerpt like that, you simply need to add text to the Excerpt box in your post editor. If you can’t see this box, click the Screen Options button towards the top of your dashboard and make sure the Excerpt is checked.
