Post entry area has disappeared

Hi,

I recently entered my first post but saved it as a draft. I have been in an installed a number of plugins and a new theme. I just went back to edit the post but the page is now not showing any post entry area. I then tried going into to do a new post but once again the same thing, no post entry area is there. Everything else is there on the post screen including the post entry area formating buttons at the top of the post entry area but no box to enter or edit the post. Any ideas
