Post Editor Won't Save Drafts Since 3.5 Update

  • Since updating from 3.4.2 to 3.5 my post editor will only save once when I’m writing a post. All subsequent “Save Drafts” cause all the additional typing to disappear, just leaving the original first save.

    EXAMPLE: ‘<p>This is a test sentence</p>‘ Select “Save Draft”, it saves.
    Add: ‘<p>This is also a test sentence.</p>‘ Select “Save Draft”, it returns as, ‘<p>This is a test sentence</p>‘, having deleted the second (and any subsequent) line of text.

    I’ve renamed the plugins folder to deactivate all plugins, to no effect. I’ve re-installed my database with an earlier backup, also to no effect. I’ve changed to the Default theme, but that made no difference. Now, I’m totally stumped. Can anyone help?
