I just ran your plugin for the first time using a simple string replace on the posts table. Now when I try to edit a post the entire left sidebar is missing and the left margin of the main section is nothing. Basically, the body of the post is to the far left of the browser. How do I get the left sidebar back?

    Hi @wpbroken2much!

Better Search Replace Support Team here. Thanks for reaching out with your query! We would be happy to assist.

Do you have a backup of the entire site before doing a simple string replace? It’s always advisable to have one before doing any changes to a site. If so, kindly revert to a working backup.

We’re not sure how a simple string replace would remove the left sidebar on the WP dashboard, but that would mean something is messing with the WP core files. The plugin doesn’t modify any files, but only the database.

It might also be worth temporarily using a default theme like the Twenty Twenty-Three to check if there’s no conflict with the theme.
