Post Editor on my site looks wierd and I cant post anymore

  • Hi,

    I was looking at the post editor this week after upgrading to 4.3.1 and it seems to have broken in styling.

    I cant see the field box for posting the title or the URL edit.

    It is increasingly hard to enter content into the post because the text area has shrunk.

    I tried switching off all my plugins but it wasnt that.

    I also tried multiple browsers thinking it was a browser issue but the experience is consistent across all browsers.

    Is there something wrong with the latest update?

    Can a fix be deployed ASAP? what do we need to do?

    The recent update is working fine on a dozen sites of mine/clients, as millions of people.

    Can you elaborate on what server you’re using please?

    I’m on a shared hosting with hostpapa using an installation of softalicous used to setup WordPress.

    Thanks also for your reply. Well, your host does a lot of WordPress too, so I’m a bit puzzled.
    Is this a CSS problem maybe? Did you use a softalicious automatic setup? What happens if you change theme?

    Hi Digico,

    I did use the softalicious script to initially setup however the updates have been done within wordpress once logged in.

    I tried the theme change to two different themes by different authors but same issue.

    The post & pages section wouldn’t change.
