My WP Post Editor List will not display a “Taxinomy” Column like it does for standard Post “Categories”. I’d like to see which taxinomies my posts are assigned to via this list and be able to “Bulk Edit” pots to assign or de-assign them to specific taxinomies. I have CPT UI version 1.4.1. Will CPT UI Extended do this? WordPress 4.4.4 running Video Cafe theme.

Answered the second part in your helpscout ticket.

For the first part, one of the options when creating a taxonomy is “show admin column” which is set to false by default. Set it to true and the column should now show up in the list table for the post types the taxonomy is set to.

    Michael,

I switched the settings for 9 taxinomies as you have suggested. I also set the “Show in quick/bulk edit panel” setting to True for each taxinomy. At first only one taxinomy appeared on my post editing list and then 5 minutes later two more taxinomies appeared. They can be bulk edited however the other 6 taxinomies are still not appearing in the post list editor. Any suggestions?

I have never seen that behavior, to be honest. We’re not doing anything special regarding either of these features outside of passing the true/false parameter into register_taxonomy(), so everything else would be up to WordPress core. I am kind of curious if, for some reason, some sort of hickup is occurring due to the amount you’re registering, but you’d think it’d be handled fine. Nine total aren’t THAT much.

I de-selected the three taxinomies that do appear in the post editing list thinking maybe there is a limit. I made all the setting correct and tried substituting the other taxinomies but they will not express in the list. Only the bottom three taxinomies show and only those show in the bulk editing pages even though all 9 taxinomies are set to True for “Show Admin Column” and “Show in quick/bulk edit panel.” Do you have any ideas how to resolve this? Thank you

Honestly not sure what’s going on there.

If you would, please use the Debug Info tab in the Import/Export area to send me your settings being used. Email them to michael @ webdevstudios.com

I’ll see if I can figure anything out with this, and let you know.
