Post disappearing after publishing

    At home this morning I wrote a long post, and published it. I know it published OK because I successfully showed it to friends on a computer at work a few hours later.

    This evening when I came home, it had disappeared. I can find no trace anywhere in the site admin section. Looking through the site access logs doesn’t show anything interesting. I’m the only one with admin privileges, and I didn’t delete it, so I’ve got no idea what’s going on. Ideas?

    Problem solved. It turns out my SQL database had become corrupted, to the point of screwing up other data. Repaired it, and the post returned.

    I don’t know enough about SQL to understand why or how that happened, but the problem’s solved, anyway.
