I decided to try the PublishPress Planner plugin as your suite of tools look potentially very useful. Whilst trying it out with a test post (standard WP post type with block editor) I noticed the extra post status options. I changed the post status to ‘In Progess’ and saved it. When I looked in the WP Posts admin page (/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post&all_posts=1) I could see it listed, with status set to ‘In Progress’.

Since this is a non standard WP post status, I thought I’d try deactivating the PP Planner plugin to see what happens to the post status (good to know in case I use the plugin with lots of posts and then decide to stop using it for any reason).

The post disappeared from the WP posts admin page. I went to the post editor page (using the post edit URL for that post ID), made sure it was saved as draft, but whatever I do it doesn’t show up in the posts admin page anymore.

Is this a bug? Please advise?

    Thanks

    Hi @canaryninja

    Thanks for using PublishPress

The next release of PublishPress Planner is likely to remove this statuses feature in favor of a new and more advanced alternative. I would recommend not relying on those statuses for now.
