Post Disappeared

  • I just had a post that completely disappeared. I spent quite a deal of time on it and then made another post and it was just not there. Odd thing is the number of the posts in Dashboard are consistent with no gaps. Has anyone seen this happen before? I’m using 2.0. Appreciate any insight. Thank you.

    nope…gone…poof…disappeared…as if it never happened!

    Are you sure you saved the post after writing it .. ? ??

    The same thing happened to me. I upgraded to 2.0. I have written the same post over and over. I’ve saved it, published it, saved and continued editing, everything. All that is saved is the title of the post.

    I am having a similar problem. I can create a post just fine. But sometimes when I go back to edit a post, the post editor clears my updates when I save. This makes editing posts a very frustrating experience.

    Does anyone have an answer for this? Can I go back to the old version since the upgrade seems to have messed me up?

    Experiencing this too since upgrading a clients blog to 2.0 ??

    Is anyone else still experiencing this problem? I can’t find much out there on it, but judging from this thread several people experienced it…

    Seems to be an intermittent thing… but I’m still losing the odd post when editing…

    Can anyone help?
