post date is not visible visible for featured posts

Hello there

I have a blog through WordPress.com

I just switched from the retired Oxygen them to Twenty Eleven.

I really love!! the look of my blog now ; there is only one thing I would like to improve: the date posted is not visible visible for the featured posts. Several of my readers messaged me to give great feedback about the new look with this theme but all pointed out the missing date to me.

I asked for help with the Support and they redirected me to this forum, begin that Twenty Eleven is developed by the community.

Is this a change that could be implemented?
