Post Data issue

  • Hi all,

    Again, no answer via search, so here goes…

    I’ve got an issue where on submitting my contact form (in a ‘page’) I get the error message “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria” indicating that it’s trying to do a search?

    How does this get triggered (is it meerly the presence of post data in a page request) and how to not have it invoked when submitting my contact form.

    Any help appreciated.

    …it appears that the presence of postdata is interfering with WP in that when it’s present, it’s displaying the page not found error, despite the form submitting to the same page.

    Any help appreciated on where to look on what’s causing it. I’m guessing it’s got something to do with the have_posts in ‘the loop’ evaluating to false.
