Post content missing

    Hello,
    I am using the Duena child theme for politicalfriction.com. I was trying to back up my files using FTP. I did something wrong and now the content from my posts is missing. I did my best to find a solution with no luck.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,

    Usually post content is picked up from the database. I can see posts with images being displayed (https://politicalfriction.com/michael-moore-treadmill-words-that-dont-belong-together/) which means that the post content is displayed.

    Can you give an example of the error you are facing?

    Ramesh,

    The content is still being displayed in the individual posts; however,you can usually see the photos on the homepage. Now their are just links to the individual posts.

    I think I get what you are saying now.

    I see that you are using a child theme. What are the custom php files that you have in your theme?

    I can also see that showing the Featured Image is an option in the theme settings? By chance, have you disabled it?

    The custom php files I have are: category.php, footer.php, function.php, index.php, sidebar.php, and single.php.

    And the featured image is not disabled.
