• dear mailpoet team,
i compose my mailpoet newsletters by using the feature to place posts in them. the problem is that the italic formatting, that was set composing the posting, does not seem to be taken over in the mailpoet newsletter. so i have to edit the post in the mailpoet email composer manually, which makes the simple use of placing posts quite complex.
is there a way to make mailpoet keep the original post formattings?

    Hello there @pigsound,

Thank you for reaching out to us about your experiences with formatting when using the feature to place posts in your MailPoet newsletters.

I understand how important it is for your posts’ original formatting, including italic text, to be carried over into your newsletters. This keeps the procedure simple and less time-consuming, ensuring your newsletters maintain a consistent and professional look.

As of now, formatting such as italicization should ideally be preserved when you place a post into a newsletter. If this isn’t happening, it might be the result of a conflict. Can you kindly run a conflict test by following this guide: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/204-how-to-test-for-plugins-conflict

Kindly let us know if that helps.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
