post comments keep or not?

  • Hi Group

    Almost all the comments i get on my blog posts are spam!!! but some are good and useful.
    normally i go through and select them all and mark as spam and i like to keep the comments list in WP tidy..
    what can i do with the comments i think are useful?
    – do they just stay in the comments list?
    – can i delete them once read and answered?
    – if i delete them from here will the also delete from the page / post they came from?
    – if i can’t delete them can i move them to a folder?

    i look forward to your advise ??

    You can certainly delete comments. Spam, definitely. But if it’s a good comment, why remove it even if you’ve responded?

    I use the plugin “Antispam Bee” to manage spam comments.

    I don’t want to delete them i just want to move them from the WP back end comments window just in case they get accidentally deleted when mass deleting the spam ones ??

    You can’t do that. If they’re on your system, they show up on the COMMENTS menu on the back end. I suppose you could trash the good ones, bulk mark the rest as spam, clear spam, then restore the ones in trash. After that, let AntiSpam Bee handle it all automatically.
