When creating a new import from the “Import a Podcast” panel on tools.php, the Post Category (or Categories) field is blank. I’m using Google Chrome as a browser running on WordPress 5.4.2 with the Enfold theme.

Also, an Edit button under the Schedule Imports would be very helpful.

    Hey @bearsox,

Thanks for using our plugin and for reaching out!

I don’t see any issues with the categories. Is this for the regular post categories or a custom taxonomy/post-type?

Yeah we’ll look into adding an edit button, basically since you can delete the old one and create a new import in just a few seconds, we didn’t want to force users to navigate off the import page just for altering a setting or two.

This is for standard post categories. I’ve tried the plugin on two installs and with both the default and additional categories.

The edit button answer makes sense.

That’s odd, do you have any posts already associated with the categories?

Also, note that if you have the Seriously Simple Podcasting installed and activated, the plugin would pull this taxonomy (“Series”) instead of the regular post categories.

I have the posts associated with the default category that I have changed to ‘Podcast’.

I do have SSP install and activated, but I’m seeing a blank box without any Category names at all. The whole select box highlights when I click it.

Are you saying I need to create a Series taxonomy in SSP and then it will populate that field? Right now I have none.

Yeah exactly – if you have the SSP plugin activated, the category list would actually only pull the “Series” taxonomy and not the post category.

Let me know if that helps!

    Great! Thanks for the help.
