Post categories loose Hierarchies after publish

  • Hello,

    On a New Posts the Categories are listed nicely in hierarchy in right sidebar.
    I select the ones i want and publish the post.

    However now, the ‘selected’ categories are now on top of the list (fine). But everything else bellow is no longer listed with correct hierarchy. Just a flat list making it hard to find the category i need.

  • I think this was a ticket already, but also an issue in the Gutenberg repository.
    Please see if any of these tickets (or others) describe your problem, and you can add your test case to that ticket to help move it forward.
    It seems to affect several areas where hierarchical things are shown in subsets (like page 1 of many pages for the whole list).
