post carousel stutter on mobile

  • I am using your plugin together with visual composer.
    where I have 3 post carousels.

    When I am on mobile, it stutters a lot – and basically skips the entire animation.

    The site is not that heavy on javascript etc. So i am surprised that it should be this stuttery.
    it even stutters a little on the desktop version, and is quite CPU heavy.

    Is there any way of optimising this?

    btw – it also stutters on your demo page.
    Though, you have the animation set so high up, that it just appears to insta change instead of sliding.

    Which leads me to believe, that it is a javascript problem.

    Do you notice stuttering here too – https://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/? If so, it is good to check with the author of this famed jQuery plugin. We just use this plugin to display our carousel and I do not notice any more stuttering than what I see on their demo page.

    I’ve changed mine to “Fade” on mobile, since sliding didn’t get smooth results.
    But no, on the github, it seems to be looking fine.

    Might be the image sizes, the number of images or something else, but your demo site still doesn’t slide on my mobile – it just changes the image instead.
    If you touch it, it then returns to sliding.
