Post Carousel – Posts query – Order by

  • Hi,

    I’m using the Post Carousel widget to show posts on the homepage of the website.

    Now I’m needing to show the events (I use The Events Calendar, Modern Tribe’s plugin) along with the posts.

    I managed to do this by selecting:
    – Post type: All
    – Taxonomies: category:my-category,tribe_events_cat:my-event

    But I can’t find the appropriated option to order by… I want to show the event in the date it will occur, not on the date I created or modified it.

    Is there a way to order by custom field, or other way to do this?

  • Sorry I didn’t test enough… using published date it works as I wanted… had to limit the categorys to see.

    But it shows all future posts, is there a way to limite the date range without an especific date but by relative time, like:
    – post from past dates and posts from 1 week in the future?

    The events include holidays, so I don’t want to show holiday from November (as we are in May) but maybe one holiday from the first days of June could show there.
