Post Carousel creates big space underneath + other issues

    The post carousel creates a big space underneath it. Also, the featured image of the newest post doesn’t appear. One thing I noticed is that during the auto-scroll, once it loops back to the newest post, the title area drops down to the big gap and springs right back up. My pictures are all set to 1920×1280 JPG files. I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I’m a WP newbie. Help!
