Our site that uses Jetpack POst by email has reported rejections of posts for both PDF and JPG files for the vague reason “unknown token”

- Mush Hole press release SRSC.pdf - Unknown token

and

Please note that some attachments were rejected for the following reasons:

- IMG_00000543.jpg - Unknown token
- IMG_00000548.jpg - Unknown token
- IMG_00000554.jpg - Unknown token
- IMG_00000556.jpg - Unknown token
```
These are both valid types for upload, and we have the site set to accept uploads up to 100Mb. The “following reason” provides me nothing to explain to my client why it does not work.

It does not provide an reference to the content sent.

The only thing I have seen someone else that works is that they reset the email. This is not a desirable solution (if it is even a solution) as we have already communicated the email address to our project’s community.

What the heck is an “unknown token”????

Please advise.

This is the site- I have my default category set to be this one, so users do not have to specify

But Post BY Email has not worked since Sep 15, apparently there is another issue?

Hi there,

I only see 2 posts being sent by email, back in August. Can you send a test post so I can see if it makes it to our system or not? Let me know once you’ve done so.

Actually our last successful post was sent Sept 15

I sent test message was sent on Sep 16, subject line “From the Great Beyond” – that never appeared– and just sent another one with the subjecyt “From the Great Beyond Part Deux”

I am so sorry, someone else on my team seems to have regenerated the email; we were using the wrong address. It is working now, and seems to have attached both JPG and PDF. Closing this ticket, apologies again. ID10T error.
