Post by Email – cannot link account with WordPress

    I am trying to use JetPack 2.5 Post By Email in conjunction with “Theme My Login 3.6.8” plugin. I get the following error message when a new contributor tries to set up Post By Email and click on the “Link account with WordPress” link in their user profile

    Invalid request, please go back and try again.
    Error Code: invalid_request
    Error Message: The required “redirect_uri” parameter is malformed.

    The post by email function works fine when “Theme My Login” custom user profile page is not active but produces the above error message when “Theme My Login” is active. I really wanted to use the two together and was hoping there would be an easy way to fix this. If not please let me know and thanks for the support.

    Hi,

    I see lots of support requests for that plugin, including lots of issues with redirects. It also hasn’t been updated in a while and isn’t marked as compatible with WordPress 3.6. I think this is something that the plugin author needs to fix, but I’ll ask a Jetpack developer to take a look as well.
