Post by e-mail not showing message

  • I have successfully set up post by e-mail and when I go to the wp-mail URL it does show success and does post the message to my blog. However it only posts the subject, not content, nothing from the body of the e-mail shows up in the post.

    Any thoughts?

  • I just enabled this feature (WordPress 2.6.3) and I’m getting the same behavior. I’m posting from a Gmail account.

    I fixed it.

    scotts2cents (if you’re still alive out there), try changing your e-mail settings away from HTML or RTF (RichText) to plain text–that worked for me.
