• I’ve read the documentation on “Acceptation capability” (role that controls who can accept revision drafts). I’m wanting a way to allow post author’s (person who wrote the post) to accept revision drafts. This way the community can build onto a author’s great article and allow the author to act at the moderator. Because they care about their content this would ease the administrators. What is less ideal is author’s being able to edit other author’s post without their acceptance.

    Hello @joshdetour!

Thanks for your feedback. At this moment this is not possible, but we think this is a wonderful idea.

    Stay tuned for future updates.
It will be added as a new feature soon!

    Best regards,

    Hi @joshdetour! Przemek here,

according to what you wrote, WordPress is based on the so-called “capability”, so a person/author who has enabled enabling publishing will also be able to see other people’s posts. Ad. the second thing (to consider for the future), we could add a feature that would allow only those posts to be reviewed by the people who created them – if I understood correctly what you wrote above.

Pardon the delayed response. Indeed that is correct. Post authors (post owner) to be allowed to accept pending post on their post which gets merged into the main post. Similar to the current workflow except the author’s can as well.

    Hi @joshdetour! Przemek here,

Sorry for the late reply. Just to be clear it looks like a new feature if I understood correctly. So I will close the topic and put it as a future feature idea to be considered.
